Honoring Councilmember Randy Jernigan

At December's Council Meeting, the Town of Wilson’s Mills proudly recognized Councilmember Randy Jernigan for his years of dedicated service to our community. Randy served on the Town Council from 2007–2011 and 2013–2025, offering thoughtful leadership, integrity, and a deep commitment to the residents of Wilson’s Mills

Throughout his tenure, Randy worked to promote responsible governance, community engagement, and the long-term wellbeing of our Town. Beyond Council service, he also gave his time to the Parks and Recreation Board and the Wilson’s Mills Fire Department, further demonstrating his heart for public service

In gratitude for his lasting contributions and leadership, the Town Council formally honored Randy by renaming a portion of Wilson’s Mills Road Extension as Jernigan Way—a permanent reminder of the impact he has made on our community

Thank you, Councilmember Jernigan, for your years of service, sacrifice, and care for Wilson’s Mills. We wish you all the best in your retirement from public office.
