Join us for a day full of family fun, community spirit, and hometown pride at the annual Wilson’s Mills Community Day! This free, public event will feature a wide variety of activities for all ages, including:
- Inflatables and games for kids
- Live music throughout the day
- Local vendors and artisans
- Pie baking and pie eating contests
- Raffles and free balloon creations
- Delicious offerings from food trucks
- A youth rugby clinic led by the Clayton Rugby Football Club
We’re also excited to welcome:
- Live animals from Pasture Pals Equine Rescue
- Public safety demonstrations and community info from the Wilson’s Mills Police and Fire Departments
- Free popcorn for all attendees!
As part of our commitment to supporting local schools, we will be hosting a school supply drive to benefit Wilson’s Mills Elementary School. Donations are welcome and appreciated!

Touch-A-Truck

Bring the whole family for a day of big wheels and even bigger fun at Wilson’s Mills’ annual Touch-A-Truck event! Kids (and kids at heart) can climb inside, honk the horn, and explore a variety of vehicles up close—including fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and more.
Enjoy live demonstrations, local vendors, and exciting special appearances by the Duke LifeFlight Helicopter and UNC Health Bus!
Free admission – don’t miss this hands-on experience that’s perfect for all ages!
