Bring the whole family for a day of big wheels and even bigger fun at the Third Annual Wilson’s Mills Touch-A-Truck event! Kids (and kids at heart) can climb inside, honk the horn, and explore a variety of vehicles up close—including fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, tow trucks, an ambulance, and more!
✨ The first hour of the event (11am–Noon) will be a horn-free hour, perfect for guests who may be sensitive to loud sounds.
This family-favorite event will also feature:
- Inflatable & Games
- Free Face Paint Artist & Balloon Twister from 11:30am-2:30pm
- Local vendors, artisans, nonprofits and community services (see below for details)
- Delicious offerings from food truck favorites (see below for details)
- Free popcorn and bottled water (while supplies last, no tickets needed)
- Free souvenir photos by TSS Photography (sent to your phone!)
- PLUS a 50/50 raffle!

Celebrate hometown pride at the 2026 Wilson’s Mills Founders Day! Join us on Saturday, August 22 for a free, family-friendly event packed with fun for all ages—live music from local artists, games and inflatables, food trucks, vendors, raffles, pie contests, and more. Enjoy special attractions like face painting and balloon art, a youth rugby clinic, public safety demos, free health screenings. This also marks the Town’s 30th year of incorporation! Founding families, Town Hall staff, and Town Councilmembers will be on hand to share stories about the Town’s history – some may be dressed in period costumes! Don’t forget to bring a donation for our school supply drive supporting Wilson’s Mills Elementary! You can also bring items for the Share Shed, now located under the Park Shelter.
