Did You Know? – Town Government & Public Meetings

Did you know that the Town of Wilson’s Mills operates under a Mayor-Council form of government with five (5) Councilmembers who are elected for four-year staggered terms? Qualified voters living within the town limits of Wilson’s Mills elect the Mayor and Councilmembers. Regular meetings of the Town Council are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30pm (currently held at Wilson’s Mills Elementary School). Each meeting includes accepting minutes from the previous meeting, discussing and deciding on agenda items, and holding two Open Forums for residents to voice their suggestions and concerns. Some meetings also include public hearings and proclamations.

Wilson’s Mills citizens are encouraged to get involved by attending these meetings and sharing their ideas. We look forward to hearing from you! For other helpful information, visit our Helpful Links page.
