Town Boards & Committees

The Town of Wilson’s Mills is supported by several boards that help guide decision-making and community growth:

TOWN COUNCIL
🔸 The Town operates under a Mayor–Council form of government with five Councilmembers elected to staggered four-year terms.
📅 Meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30pm.
🔸 Meetings include agenda items, public discussion, and two Open Forums for resident input. The Council also meets the 4th Monday of each month at 5:00pm for their Work Session. This is also a public meeting.

PLANNING BOARD
🔸 An advisory board focused on land use, zoning, and development matters.
📅 Meets the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00pm, as needed.
🔸 Members serve staggered three-year terms and may participate in joint public hearings with Town Council.

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT (BOA)
🔸 A quasi-judicial board that interprets town ordinances and considers variances and administrative appeals.
📅 Meets as needed.
